Founded in 2007, Pygma Consulting is a Johannesburg-based consultancy firm and a member of the Pygma Group, a pan-African investment company. We focus mainly on the ICT sector, namely telecoms, broadcasting, and new media, and we provide an extensive range of consulting services, from strategy to regulatory consulting.

Pygma Consulting is not simply a “cut and paste” consulting company: we provide guidance, oversight, and business development. We understand what makes African markets tick, and we know that different countries require different approaches. We also know that, even though the ICT sector has multiple barriers to entry, it should not be approached in a narrow sense – at Pygma our specialities lie in ICT, but we always look at the sector in a broader sense.

Our projects include both the public and private ICT sectors within the African continent as well as globally, and we’ve worked with a range of stakeholders, such as NGOs, banks, governments, and equipment vendors, as well as fixed and mobile private sector players, to name just a few.
